•Develop, implement and maintain security policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and personnel. •Supervise and coordinate contractors' security staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management. •Conduct regular security assessments and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities and implement appropriate mitigation measures. •Monitor surveillance systems, including GPS Tracking CCTV cameras, to detect and deter security breaches. •Implementing overall Physical Asset Security Management protocols and maintain security controls. •Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies, taking appropriate action to minimize risk and ensure the safety of all individuals involved. •Collaborate with other departments, such as safety, facilities management and logistics, to address security-related concerns and implement integrated security solutions. •Maintain accurate records of security incidents, investigations, and activities, and prepare reports as required. •Stay informed about current security trends, threats, and technologies, and recommend updates to security measures as needed. •Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to security operations. •Foster a culture of security awareness and accountability among all employees, promoting a safe and secure work environment. •Overseeing daily kennel operations, ensuring high standards of animal welfare and facility sanitation, and managing staff, often within a security-focused environment. The security aspect may involve managing security dogs and adhering to specific security protocols. •To be considered, you must possess following qualifications, skills and experiences. •Experience in security management, K9, criminal justice, or a related field preferred. •Proven experience in security operations, preferably in a Food manufacturing, or Extractive Industries or similar industry. •Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to effectively manage security teams. •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization. •Knowledge of security technologies, including CCTV systems, GPS tracking, access control systems, and alarm systems. •Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to security operations. •Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond calmly and decisively to security incidents and emergencies. •Certification in security management or related fields preferred.
