PROMODISER – LAE BASE
Key Responsibilities: • Promoting company products in retail outlets, supermarkets, and trade locations • Ensuring products are well displayed, properly stocked, and attractively merchandised according to company standards • Monitoring product availability and reporting stock shortages or out-of-stock situations • Building and maintaining positive relationships with store managers, supervisors, and retail staff • Assisting in the execution of promotional campaigns, product launches, and marketing activities • Providing product information and recommendations to customers to encourage sales • Monitoring competitor activities, pricing, and promotions and reporting findings to management • Ensuring point-of-sale materials are correctly displayed and maintained • Collecting market feedback and customer insights to support sales and marketing strategies • Preparing regular activity reports and submitting them to the Brand & Activation Manager • Maintaining a professional company image at all times while representing the organization
Qualifications • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification • Certificate or diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Studies, or a related field will be an advantage • Minimum 2 years’ experience in merchandising, promotions, sales, or customer service roles • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Strong customer service orientation and ability to engage effectively with customers • Ability to work independently and manage multiple retail locations when required • Good organizational and reporting skills • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and promotional events when required • Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods and handling merchandising materials • A positive attitude, self-motivation, and a strong commitment to achieving sales targets
PAYABLE OFFICER – LAE BASE
Key Responsibilities: • Processing supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner • Verifying invoices against purchase orders, delivery notes, and supporting documentation • Preparing and processing supplier payments in accordance with company procedures and payment schedules • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies promptly • Maintaining accurate accounts payable records and filing systems • Monitoring outstanding payables and ensuring obligations are met within agreed credit terms • Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable • Liaising with suppliers and internal departments regarding payment queries and account issues • Ensuring compliance with company policies, financial controls, and accounting standards • Assisting with audits by providing required documentation and supporting information
Qualifications • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Studies, or a related field • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in an Accounts Payable or similar accounting role • Sound understanding of accounts payable processes and financial controls • Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail • Experience using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel • Ability to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies effectively • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling financial information • Team-oriented with a proactive and positive work attitude
Machine Shop Supervisor
Key Responsibilities: • Supervising daily operations of the machine shop, including machining, fabrication, welding, and fitting activities • Planning, scheduling, and prioritizing workshop jobs in coordination with the Maintenance Manager • Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with engineering standards and specifications • Interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders to guide workshop activities • Overseeing maintenance, repair, and manufacturing of plant components, parts, and equipment • Ensuring proper use, calibration, and maintenance of machine tools and workshop equipment • Monitoring quality of workmanship and ensuring compliance with required tolerances and standards • Implementing and enforcing workplace safety procedures and good housekeeping practices • Supporting breakdown maintenance activities and emergency repairs when required • Training, mentoring, and supervising machine shop staff to build technical capability and performance
Qualifications • Trade qualification in Fitting & Machining, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in machine shop, fabrication, or industrial maintenance environment and in a supervisory or leadership role. • Strong knowledge of machining processes, welding, fabrication, and mechanical fitting • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure • Good understanding of workplace health and safety standards in an industrial environment • Excellent leadership, communication, and team coordination skills • Computer literacy for reporting, job tracking, and maintenance documentation • Physically fit and able to work in a demanding industrial environment
Packaging Mechanics
Key Responsibilities: • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair packaging machinery • Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime • Support continuous improvement initiatives in packaging efficiency • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Requirements • Relevant trade qualification and certification • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar industrial/manufacturing environment • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required
Process Mechanics
Key Responsibilities: • Maintain and service processing equipment • Identify and resolve mechanical issues impacting production • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance • Support production teams to achieve optimal plant performance
Requirements • Relevant trade qualification and certification • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar industrial/manufacturing environment • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required
Electrician
Key Responsibilities: • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment • Diagnose faults and implement timely solutions • Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations • Assist in automation and control system improvements
Requirements • Relevant trade qualification and certification • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar industrial/manufacturing environment • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required
Auto Heavy & Light Mechanic
Key Responsibilities • Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy and light vehicles. • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately. • Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime. • Repair engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering systems, and suspension components. • Maintain service records and report on vehicle conditions. • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies. • Assist in maintaining workshop cleanliness and organization.
Requirements & Qualifications • Trade Certificate in Automotive/Heavy Equipment Mechanics or equivalent qualification. • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience working with heavy and light vehicles. • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. • Knowledge of diesel and petrol engines. • Ability to work independently and within a team. • Good communication skills. • Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious. • Must be based in Lae or willing to relocate at own cost.
Fitter Machinist (3 Positions)
Key Responsibilities: • Carry out maintenance, repair and overhaul of production machinery and equipment • Diagnose mechanical faults and perform corrective actions • Fabricate, assemble, install and align mechanical components • Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime • Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards
Requirements: •Trade qualification in Fitting & Machining or equivalent •Minimum 3 years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment •Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals •Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail •Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
